Where it sits
Ulefone announced the Armor 24 Pro alongside the Armor 22 Pro in August 2026 as updates to two of its best-selling lines. The 24 Pro is the endurance one: 22,000 mAh puts it in the same class as the Armor 29 Pro Thermal (21,200 mAh) and just below the Armor 34 Pro+ (25,500 mAh), at a much lower price tier than either.
The saving comes from the platform. The Helio G200 is a 4G chip with two performance cores; it handles messaging, navigation, calls and a camera comfortably and is not built for heavy multitasking or demanding apps. The 460-nit display is dimmer than the AMOLED panels on the flagships, which matters in direct sun.
What stands out
Two features are unusual in this class. eSIM support makes it practical to switch carriers or add a travel plan without a physical card. And the infrared blaster turns the phone into a remote for televisions and air-conditioning units — a small thing that facility and hospitality staff use more than the spec sheet suggests. Ulefone notes that remote control may not work with devices in every country.
Shipping on Android 16 also puts it ahead of older models still on sale, such as the Armor X32 Pro on Android 14.
Reported weaknesses
The Armor 24 Pro is new, so model-specific owner reports are thin. These are the recurring issues across the Armor line, from published reviews and aggregated owner reports.
- 4G onlyNo 5G. Check your carrier's 4G and VoLTE support, particularly in markets where older networks are being switched off.
- Weight647 g and 27.5 mm thick. Lighter than the 34 Pro+, still a holster phone.
- Call and microphone clarityA recurring Ulefone complaint. Test it inside the return window.
Alternatives
- Armor 34 Pro+ — 25,500 mAh, 5G, a projector and a much faster chip, at 825 g and a higher price.
- RugKing 5 Pro — 20,000 mAh on a Unisoc T7250 at 629 g; the value line, slower again.
- Armor X32 Pro — if you want 5G and a light phone more than a big battery.
